After showing the final design to the unit this weekend, we’re excited to launch our Unit 79 badge! Designed by the Scouts and Explorers featuring:
– route (interstate) sign design (route 79 goes through West Virginia where the Jamboree camp will be held)
– tree leaves (we’re being as green/environmentally friendly as possible)
– the official 2019 UK bear logo
– features of the 3 host nations: Canadian maple leaf with Mexican colours and 3 American stars – just 3 as it also represents the 3 host nations
We’re really proud of all the designs the Scouts presented, together the unit has made a great badge!
